Visit duration    < 1 hour

Been here during my Croatia visit in 2017, as a recently discovered this website im uploading some of my old visits. As my visit is almost 5 years ago, i do not know the current state of either the train carriage or the buildings surrounding it.

Plaski is a small village in Central Croatia which we passed on our way to the Plitvice lakes. During through the village we've noticed several abandoned buildings (mainly due to the Yugoslavian war, you can still see the bullet holes in the walls) and an abandoned railroad house.

I'm not totally sure if it used to be the Plaski railroad station or not. Beside the building and the abandoned train carriage there is a track that appears to be still in use, so my guess is that the village itself used to have a station but does not anymore.

The building is in rough condition, have totally been trashed by vandals and perhaps some drifters.
The train carriage is in pretty good condition though, only having some gravity on it.

The road towards Plitvice lakes is full of abandoned buildings, stopping beside the road however can still be very dangerous (even so many years after the war)
