Ein alter Steinbruch in dem mal magmatisches Hartgestein auch Gabbrodiorit genannt wird abgebaut wurde. Seit 1991 ist der Abbau und Betrieb eingestellt.
Sehr schöne Location für Fotos zu machen. Gegenüber steht noch das alte Wohnhaus des emaligen Besitzers. was aber komplett leer geräumt war.
