☢️ Hangar 4D. A couple of years ago, after glimpsing a photo of this beautiful place, I immediately realized that I wanted to visit it. Moreover, so that it was a rest stop, a chill and a snack. That I really want to be noted here, because here is a synthesis of exactly what, in all this business, I feel awe: technology-ruins-nature.
In the foothills, not far from Koktebel, 3 AN-2s, of varying degrees of disassembly, rest under a half-destroyed hangar, on the gate of which the "4D" marking is applied in pale red. What happened to it, it was not possible to find information, I assume that it was once used as a parking lot for aircraft carcasses for parsing into details, then some kind of cataclysm happened (hurricane, etc.) and the floor of the roof was carried away to the Ozz country. Then, apparently, the airfield began to decline and the 4D hangar was spat on.
The facility itself is located on the territory of the current parachute and gliding sports base, however, even the presence of base personnel did not prevent you from coming here and feeling quite free.
On this day there was changeable clouds and interesting lighting, I think on a sunny day there would be too many contrasting, extra shadows from the roof structure, so we can say that the non-flying weather turned out to be very useful.
And the next time I would like to get here, for example, with an overnight stay: put up a tent, cook dinner on a campfire. Well, I think the prospect is not bad!
