It is always fascinating to witness the abandonment of properties that still show a luxurious past of beautiful furniture now eaten away by dust, mold and time. The location let's you wandering what gas happened to the deceased owner to leave it like that with piles of letters laying around where rich account balances are scared away by unpaid debts. The furniture is still there, you could imagine them having a tea at 4pm or having hair done under a permanent helmet. The location has all I love in urbex: a past that breathes through the cracks of time, stories that urge to be told and desire not to be forgotten, details of a past daily life that pose like models there in front of my ecstatic lens.
Light in the location is best at sunset for most of the windows to the bedrooms face west. The kitchen and living is facing east but the garden makes light entering minimum. To have good shots of the whole house I suggest a morning - lunch break - afternoon visit.
