Most of this factory is already vandalized and empty, but the main hall is still very beautiful. The windows are all smashed so there are many entry points. However, it was next to a very busy road and some workers were cleaning up the area around it. I assume this factory will be demolished soon.

Deze machinefabriek staat nu al 15 jaar leeg na een faillissement. Het begon in 1901. Ze richten zich vooral op landbouwmachines.Er werden locomobielen en stoommachines gebouwd.De eigenaren gingen in 1907 na ruzie uit elkaar en werd de fabriek op deze locatie opgericht. Er werden diverse machines en apparaten gemaakt. Na WOII ging de tweede generatie het bedrijf runnen. In 1990 werden de aandelen verkocht en de beheermaatschappij kocht ook de
aandelen van de concurrent op. En zo werden de 2 fabrieken samengevoegd. In 1998 werd het in 4 vennootschappen opgedeeld. Het ging enige tijd goed. Maar de crisis in Azië en 9-11 werden de doodsterk voor de fabriek.
Er zijn plannen om er woningen te bouwen en het zou al gesloopt moeten zijn. Gelukkig voor ons is dit nog niet gebeurd.
Je moet door het afval heen kijken en de leuke details zien. Wij vonden zeker geslaagd daar.
