Die Gummifabrik ist wohl einer der bekanntesten aber auch schönsten lostplaces Deutschland. Dort wurden früher reifen und andere Gummi Produkte hergestellt. Weil die Gebäude unter dem zahn der Zeit litten, beschloss das Unternehmen eine neue zu bauen. Weil die riesigen Gebäude aber unter Denkmalschutz stehen dürfen sie bis heute nicht abgerissen werden. Es gibt mittlerweile schon Pläne zur Rettung der beeindruckenden Fabrik.

The rubber factory is probably one of the most famous but also most beautiful lostplaces in Germany. Tires and other rubber products used to be made there. Because the buildings were suffering from the ravages of time, the company decided to build a new one. Because the huge buildings are under monument protection, they are still not allowed to be demolished today. There are now plans to save the impressive factory.
