I got the address from a local urbex fellow for trade. Ironically, it was the incorrect address but also a local
Hotspot unbeknownst to me. I had seen some of the pictures in other fb posts.

The first thing I noticed sliding up the steep driveway in a snowstorm was it’s towering three semi circle windows, Spanish style roof, and colors of gray and orange running down the structure.

The house was opened but I didn’t realize that until creating a new entrance, naturally.

There’s an overly posted dining room that’s been staged by previous photographers. I ordinarily avoid such pictures and decide to steer my focus on things that haven’t been beaten into the ground. It was hard to resist for many reasons but namely the giant windows with iron o’s across them. Plus the red-painted shelving. The interior decorating of the previous owners proved to be impeccable. Apart from misplaced mattresses, suitcases, vintage clothing that was staged in unlikely areas (such as the living room), the place was indefinitely uninhabited.

The preferred room to photograph had a giant ceiling mural of cherubs floating and is accented with gold
Leaf. I was more mesmerized by the craftsmanship of the hand carved fire place, so I tried to capture it all in one photograph; not by pressing any buttons to open it up more, but rather by lying on the dusty floor.

Upstairs were two giant pink rooms, one with a fancy antique overhead lamp, and the other with a couple chairs near the fire place. An old candleholder adds character to the room and can be seen through many of the six or seven bedrooms.

I chose not to go haywire with my pictures but rather focused on a few specific images that moved me. Partly because I have limited followers and ig and partly
Because I’m still improving. I would have to write this destination off As one of my favorite explores in total.
