THE URBEX CLUB: tour #135 Ghost Palace Hotel
B***, Bali, Indonesia /// 2019.12.31. @Ati @Berni RATING: ✪✪✪✪ DIFFICULTY: hard SIZE: 4 buildings, 7 stories

When we decided to visit Bali, I searched for abandoned places, and soon I found the name “Ghost Hotel” everywhere. So it was our main and ultimate direction to visit, and in reality, this Palace Hotel is clearly the most amazing hotel I’ve ever seen or been to.

The view from the hotel is absolutely spectacular, the architecture is world-class. There are so many rooms, halls, corridors to explore that in 3 hours we couldn’t visit every part of the hotel complex. The floors of the bottom levels, unfortunately, filled with wet mud, so we couldn’t reach every part there. The terraces give you the perfect view for the whole southern Bali because the hotel is located quite high up in the mountains.

The awesome wooden roof structures, the mighty dragon statues, the perfectly built marble floor finishes, the cool hidden graffitis, the frightening staircases, the monumental top-level halls makes this building one of our all-time favorite Urbex place.
