The Škoda 9Tr is a trolleybus that was produced from 1961 to 1982 by the Czechoslovak company Škoda-Ostrov and was one of the “legendary”, most massive models of trolleybuses in operation in the USSR - a total of more than 5 thousand vehicles (of which only in 3058 trolleybuses were delivered to the Ukrainian SSR). Also, trolleybuses of this model were operated in Afghanistan, Bulgaria, the GDR, India, Norway, the Polish People's Republic, Romania and in Czechoslovakia.
