Deze prachtige kerk vorige week bezocht, ik had niet verwacht dat deze plek nog in zo'n goede staat is! Doordat de kerk niet makkelijk toegankelijk is, is er nog geen sprake van vandalisme. De kerk met het interieur is nog in goede staat, de nieuwe bewoners (de duiven) zijn daarentegen wat minder opgeruimd. In een van de ruimtes lag nog tal van informatie, in een andere ruimte leek het wel alsof er gisteren nog een mis had plaatsgevonden. Kortom een prachtige locatie & zeker de moeite waard om een bezoekje te brengen, hopelijk blijft deze locatie bespaart van vandalisme.

When visiting this back in August, I did not expect the church to be in such a good condition. So many items were still left behind when I visited, such as marriage files, plates and cutlery, candles, bottles of wine and even some robes. The power was still working too in some parts, against my expectations.
We went there early in the morning to minimize the risk of getting seen because the risk of getting seen is extremely high during other times of the day given the location of the church. We even had to wait briefly while getting out of the church because cars could easily see us getting out.
Getting in is also quite a challenge and I suggest bringing a ladder and being very quick when trying to find a way in.
The church is definitely worth the risk, however. Except for some damage to the walls and a few objects, there isn't anything major that seems to be damaged in the church and there are virtually no traces of vandalism to be found. One of the rooms still has a functioning radio, another one has files and other items and it is even possible to climb all the way to the top of the bell tower. I did avoid one room though because it was empty and had a huge amount of mould in it but that and a bunch of pigeon carcasses are the worst items that you will find while visiting.
Overall it is an amazing location and hopefully, it will stay that way and be spared of vandalization.
