a very beautiful building. Charlies Bistro, on a very busy street in Belgium. Its easy to get in the building however, its also easy to be seen by other people and neighbours. Be careful.

Vanaf de buitenkant vond ik het al best een indrukwekkend beeld dit gebouw zo te zien met het reclamebord buiten aan de weg. Ik kan me zo voorstellen dat veel mensen hier een plezierige jeugd hebben meegemaakt en leuke herinneringen er aan hebben.
Ik zou me er vroeger best vermaakt kunnen hebben. Ik vond het een fijne sfeer.
Het staat al heel lang leeg en het dak begint nogal slecht te worden.
Ik hoop dat het pand het nog redt.

A nice disco that has been abandoned for over 25 years. A tent was set up in a room in the basement. Probably a "homeless person". The large garage door was ajar so you could enter quite easily. Have only been in the basement and ground floor. There isn't much left. But the atmosphere makes up for a lot.

Wij waren vorig jaar al een keertje daar maar toen was alles weer dicht getimmerd helaas. Dus nu we in de buurt waren hebben we weer een kijkje genomen en konden we via een raam naar binnen. Er is veel vernield binnen. Er lag nog 1 bal die heel was en 1 die nog wat beschadigd was. De rest was kapot gegooid. Ook geen barkrukken meer. Maar hoe dan ook vond ik het toch leuk om daar foto's te kunnen maken. Ik vond het al met al toch geslaagd.

Uiteindelijk toch deze locatie bezocht. Het is een mooie locatie die je terug katapulteert naar het verleden. Tegenwoordig zouden we ons niet kunnen inbeelden dat een dancing er zo simpel uitziet.
Deze locatie is zeker een bezoekje waard wanneer je in de buurt bent!

Deze locatie bezocht op een druilerige maandagochtend, met dank aan @Kezmenneke en @janna_1982 voor de info! Het ligt aan een drukke weg, desondanks kun je prima ongezien binnen komen. Wij hebben de deur aan de achterkant van het pand genomen, is gewoon open. We hebben alleen de ruimtes op de begane grond verkend en vonden de hoofdzaal waar de discobal hangt het meest fotogeniek. De geluidsbox, lichtballen en telefooncel maken het plaatje compleet. Ik heb via via gehoord dat deze discotheek zeker al 20 jaar leeg moet staan.

Visited this location on a rainy monday morning, thanks to @Kezmenneke and @janna_1982 for the information. It's located on a busy road, nevertheless it's quite easy to sneak in on the backside of the building. The door is open. Only visited the ground floor. The part where the dancefloor is with the disco ball, sound box, light balls and old phone booth is very photogenic. I've heard that this building must be abandoned since at least 20 years.

Met dank aan @janna_1982 deze locatie, een voormalige discotheek, bezocht. De voor- en achterdeur staan gewoon open. Ligt wel aan een drukke weg. Maar best leuk om eens te bezoeken. Niet te lang meer mee wachten, aangezien het dak op veel plekken lekt. Nog een coole grote geluidsbox, een heuse discobal aan het plafond en allemaal mooie lichtballetjes gevonden.

Visited this location, a former nightclub, thanks to @janna_1982. The front and back doors are open as usual. Is on a busy road. But nice to visit. Don't wait too long, as the roof leaks in many places. Another cool big sound box, a real disco ball on the ceiling and all beautiful light balls found.
