Holy Land USA was a religious theme park in CT that was very popular in the 50’s and 60’s- over 40,000 visitors a year. There are still remains of the replica Israelite villages, the stations of the cross, and a 60 foot (illuminated!) cross on the top of the hill. I have been here several times and love going in winter and summer alike.
