We stumbled across this place by accident, doing research on another location. As it was in the area of our destination, we decided to stop by. Strange village in the middle of nowhere, it is located right in the center. The people already stared at us when we parked the car, like they knew, we were not from the area.

You can just walk into the garden of the castle, being sheltered by the outside walls, we started looking for an entrance. The door to the basement was open, we walked right in and stumbled into these cosy rooms. Wine bottles wherever you looked, all empty, yet not emptied, looked like they were never filled.

In the back of the cellar we found a wooden door that led to the stairs to the upper floors. When we went up, we saw that first attempts at renovating the place were taken, although these rooms were beautiful and in a somewhat good condition, we decided to leave, out of respect for the apparent new owner of this gem.
