This place is the most beautiful during autumn. The building itself is empty, not a lot to see on the inside, but on the outside it’s a vision. It’s surrounded by a huge garden/park, and the fallen leaf, yellow trees, and the colorful vegetation growing inside the fountain make it a perfect location for taking amazing photos (and also feeling like you are in fairytale).

The building was built by Latinovits Tibor* between 1923 and 1926. He was a rich nobleman, but he loved building things, so he built the place mainly with his own two hands. Immidatley after the house was done, Latinovits sold it to the government. The government gave it to a journalist organisation as a summer house.

I couldn’t find a lot of infos of its history after that, but it seems that it was a resort hotel for a while, and it had several owners recently. They all had big plans, but none of them came to life. It seems that they started to renovate it, but stopped. And now it’s for sale again.

I found a newspaper article about the place from 1928, where the author writes about how the place looked like then. According to them, the garden was full of roses, and thanks to that, the whole neighbourhood smelled like roses during summer. The inside of the building was covered with marble, some of the walls with leather tapestry. The fireplaces were the most luxurious of their time.

The location is easy to find and to access. it’s relativly safe, but the condition of the bulding is very bad, so watch your steps inside.

(*Some article says that it was Latinovits Frigyes who built it, but I found some original articles that says it was Latinovits Tibor)
