Again not a typical urbex spot. This a site near an atrificial lake where gravel has been harvested in the times of the DDR. After a stop was put to the mining, the pit was turned into a lake with a camping site and the old machines were preserved to some extend and are still standing at the shore of the lake. It´s also a well-known venue for concerts. It´s definately a sight worth seeing and the fact that this a commercially used property means the visit is very safe and easy, making it a good spot for trip with your family. Only downside: there are other people walking around in your shots.
