This was one of the first religious locations that we did, it was amazing nonetheless. At first, we were afraid that the building had been torn down but the chapel was still there. Once in the chapel, we were in awe of the beauty of it all. Even though the statues had come down, they were still an amazing sight to see. Next to the chapel you also have a confessions room and a surgical room as the rest of the building used to be an orphanage.

Construite au milieu du XIXième siècle, cette chapelle faisait partie d’un orphelinat, plus tard réaménagé en hôpital... Presque entièrement démoli il y a peu, seuls quelques bâtiments ont échappé à la destruction, principalement la chapelle et une aile avec ses couloirs typiques des institutions de l’époque. Dans une petite salle annexe, on a la surprise de découvrir une table d’opération et quelques lits stockés là bas on ne sait trop pourquoi…

Malgré son piteux état, l’avenir de la chapelle est assuré puisque celle-ci, classée au patrimoine remarquable, devrait bientôt faire l’objet d’une restauration.
