Among all the luxury yachts’ and gigantic sailboats, you can find many abandoned ships that once sailed the oceans of the Caribbean.
When you are heading for the docks in this particular harbour you must be really skilful in manoeuvring your boat. Most of the shipwrecks are visible above the water and marked out with buoys, but I wonder how it would be arriving at night-time, because the wrecks don’t have night lights as the occupied boats do.
I saw wrecks of all sorts: sailboats, cargo ships and even a yacht half submerged under the water. It’s expensive to scrap a wreck, that’s why the owners often just leave it. You might think that if you had the means to buy a boat you should be able to take care of it once it’s no longer navigable. Instead they lay there polluting the water in this paradise.
