Die Lungenklinik wurde 1898 dafür genutzt, für Bergarbeiter, die Lungenprobleme hatten. Im zweiten Weltkrieg wurde es dann als Latzeret genutzt, bis es in der DDR von denn Russen als Krankenhaus für Querschnittsgelähmte genutzt wurde. Seit 1990 steht das Gebäude leer.
