Remise Monceau

16 juli 2019,

Deze locatie was vroeger een opslagplaats voor het herstellen van treinen. Het leuke aan deze locatie was dat er nog een oud wagonnetje buiten de werkplaats stond.

There is not much to see.
Still I found it fun to visit.
Maybe not worth a drive, but when you are nearby, I would check it out :).

The station is quite easy to find but be careful because it is sitting right next to buildings which are still being used by the SBCF, the Belgian railway company, and the only way to enter is to take the only road which leads to those buildings. I went during the weekend so nobody was working there. The inside of the repair station is ok but there isn't that much to see. There used to be a train inside but it was moved before we visited. There is still a small railway car sitting just outside the building.
