I still remember the first pictures i saw of this place. We started looking where it is and after a wile we found it. At this time i been here 4times in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017 so i really have seen how the place changed due to graffiti and vandalism. Beside of the vandalism and graffiti the place always kept stunning for taking pictures. For now this chateau is sold and is being renovated. In this report are pictures from my last 2visits, sadly enough i lost the pictures of the older 2visits so i can't share them.

We left for Chateau L. from Belgium. After a long drive we saw the castle beside the road. From the outside it looked beautiful and we were very happy that we had arrived. The area surrounding the castle is super centrally located. A village where everyone stares at you and says hello. The castle was pretty much in plain sight so we decided to use google maps to look for alternative ways to the castle before not being seen. This worked! But it wasn't easy either, we went down the back of the castle via a steep fence towards the castle through a forest. I thought this was great, only my best friend didn't think it was a success. Once we were on the domain we saw the castle. It was beautiful. The main entrance was just open. We came in and it was really that impressive. The castle gave a fairytale atmosphere. The only regret I found about the castle was the 'failed' graffiti. There was one nice graffiti work that didn't bother me while I'm not in favor of this myself, but it didn't ruin the location and the other graffiti unfortunately did. Other than this, the location was very beautiful and super beautiful to photograph.

Très beau lieu, avec une magnifique verrière. Il ne reste presque plus rien à l'intérieur et le lieu est très vandalisé. Enormément de passage de jour de notre visite, nous avons du croisé une vingtaine de personnes !

Chateau Lumiere wie kent hem niet. Dit is toch wel 1van de locaties die iedereen een keer gedaan wil hebben. Ik herinner mij nog goed dat ik nog niet zo lang bezig was met urbex toen we begonnen te zoeken achter deze locatie, daar zijn we toch wel even mee bezig geweest, omdat het onze 1ste locatie was die we in Frankrijk aan het zoeken waren. Ondertussen ben ik er 4keer geweest en zag ik de locatie telkens meer achteruit gaan door vandalisme, spijtig genoeg, maar zelf met de laatste keer vond ik het toch nog de moeite om foto's te nemen. Ondertussen is er al veel graffiti gespoten en dingen vernield door de jaren heen. De foto's die ik erbij plaats zijn ook van mijn verschillende bezoeken.

Manoir abandonné visiter de nombreuses fois, j’ai vu la dégradation au file de mes visites, la pire a était le grand miroir dans le hall qui a était détruit, ce fut un spot remarquable au début, malgré qu’il soit connu par tout le monde, au file des années il a était vandalisé malheureusement

Beau manoir qui subit d’incessantes visites de gens pas toujours bien intentionnés.
Les tags recouvrent petit à petit les murs du hall d’entrée. Le bâtiment semble résister pour le moment. Il est encore possible de tomber sur de magnifiques salles de bain à l’étage, la vieille cuisinière tient fermement sa position et par beau temps, la verrière laisse passer le soleil et éclaire magnifiquement le hall. Malgré ça, on voit quand même que le lieu fatigue de toutes ces visites, le peu de meubles qui y reste bouge sans cesse, dans certaines pièces les parquets sont arrachés par des ferrailleurs…

Mille et un nom pour ce lieu, devenu un incontournable de l'Urbex dans la région !
Au coeur d'une petite ville, se recouvrant aujourd'hui peu à peu de végétation, ce manoir est une merveille, fabriqué avec des matéraux nobles, avec goût. Une impressionnante verrière traversant l'ensemble du bâtiment lui donne sa signature.
Et petite surprise avec la voiture de l'ancien propriétaire à l'arrière de la maison.
Plusieurs projets devaient être lancé pour restaurer ce lieu, des systèmes de surveillance ont déjà été installé puis démonté... pour l'instant, elle reste accessible.

Depuis quelques semaines le château a été racheter et va être rénover.
Bonne nouvelle pour lui, il ne continuera pas d'être dégrader.
Le spot est devenu le repère des taggeurs et autres énergumènes.

Le château est dans un style néo-baroque, il fait dans 1000m carré, il a environ 30 pièces, dont 8 au rais de chausser.construit en 1900, Il est inscrit au titre des monuments historiques depuis 1993. C’est la maison familiale d’un riche industriel du tabac et grand mécène. A la 2ncd guerre mondial, le château a été réquisitionner par l’état major allemand et, est transformer en centre de formation SS.
Un lieu magnifique, une architecture incroyable, des pièces riches en dorure et moulure.
Malgré qu'il soit bien conservé pour son grand âge, il dépérit à vue d’œil, sous les coups des vandales et casseurs, le château et régulièrement entretenue et nettoyer.
si par un temps le château était aussi visité que Disney land Paris, aujourd'hui c'est plus calme, on peut trouver des avertissement pour les visiteurs curieux, des autocollants indiquant que le lieux est sous vidéo surveillance, des pancartes pour interdire l'accès, les portes principal son verrouiller, ainsi que les grilles condamnée, faut faire preuves d'imagination pour pénétrer le lieu (sans casser bien sur).
