Visit duration    1 hour

I've been here during my Scotland visit in 2018, i recently discovered this website so i'm currently uploading some of my old visits.

The Abandoned Taywood Village.

(Actual Name not Known, so i called it Taywood as its located in a forest next to the river Tay).

During our visit in an Airbnb in Acharn we got tipped by the owners of an abandoned small township in a forest nearby. The township itself was hard to find and no record of it exists on the internet, but eventually we were able to find it.

It's a very old township with just a couple of buildings. All of them completely taken over by nature and seem to be abandoned for decades (maybe even centuries).

It looks like the township used to have a church and some other houses. No real roads lead to this township, just small sand paths.
