I was on a road trip and a friend from the area told me about this location, and honestly it was one of my favorite explores ever. There was just so much to see ..morgue, bone stretcher, pool table, kitchen, theatre, etc. I spent over 5 hours walking around and taking photos and felt like a kid in a candy shop. I didn't see anyone else while I was there, but there was construction workers literally working on the front of it, and could hear their voices they were so close. I was able to go unnoticed, and would absolutely go back here if I'm ever in the area again

We explored this abandoned state hospital and sanitarium for Tuberculosis patients. This place has been abandoned for 25+ years, there are multiple buildings on the property and there is some kind of access to all of them if your looking in the right places. There were a bunch of things we had on our list for this place. Took us more than 4 hours to see it all...Including the "bone stretcher" and morgue among many other things.

Visited CSH over the weekend with a few other wanderers,
Find was rather easy. Vandalism was extreme and was even in progress during our visit..
Locating certain rooms was rather difficult since it was my first visit. Getting lost in the lower levels is rather easy so stick together if there’s multiple people.
There has also been rumors of a cult that goes here late at night.
The decay has set in hard over the years compared to photos dated in ‘05-06’.

I visited the L* State Hospital about a week ago with my friends. We parked at this local drug store, and found an open path behind the hospital. It probably took us about 10 minutes or so before we saw buildings. Walking around the woods, my friends and I saw an open door leading inside to the hospital. From there we stayed and explored for about a few hours. The hospital still has old equipment on site. From a morgue to a bone stretcher to a operating table. It was an amazing experience and would go back given the opportunity. I'd highly recommend anyone who enjoys bando hospital visits to check it out.
