Visited the Kiln after seeing the top of it poke though the trees on many passes. Eventually hiked up. Followed the trail from the back of the Almaden Quicksilver Hacienda Entrance. Follow until a trail marked "not a trail" keeping following until there. Maybe .5 miles up hill. Great views awesome spot for photos sunrise or sunset.

Came here after seeing the top of the kiln sticking through the trees on many passes. Once I tri d found it pretty easy. Near the back of the parking lot to the Quick Silver park.
Head up the hill and use the closed trail part way up.
