English:
This giant reinforced Concrete Monument was built in honor of the local resistance
Movement against the Nazis during WW2.
It was finished in the 80s, basicaly instantly abandoned and no longer taken Care of.
Nowadays it only serves as a Telephone Antena and the only Visitors are Technicians and Urbexers.
It is also the 2nd Location of my most recent Urbex Documentary where I compiled 3 small Storys
into one 5min Video.

This is a memorial dedicated to the victims of World War II, created in a brutalist, postmodern style of stainless steel. On top of a mountain, the building stands forgotten and broken. In front of it are withered flowers on a stone altar. The building was completed in the early 1980s. Only ten years later, the monument was destroyed by the new war and the site became a foreign military headquarters.

Seit 2013 gibt es die Aktion „Petrova Gora: yesterday, tomorrow, how to think Petrova Gora“.

petrova gora
A few months ago, we travelled to Croatia. While we were searching for nice locations in Croatia we bumped into a building called petrova gora. We did not know what for building it used to be, but we immediately knew we would visit it. So we did our research and we thought we knew where it was. So we drove to this location and bumped into a forbidden way. On our right there was another blocked way. Next to the way were we drove, there was a little hostel where you could eat something right in front of te hostel there was a policecar. We decide to move forward trough the forbidden way and hoped we would find the location of the petrova gora.
We drove and drove but we could not reach the location where maps was sending us. So we decided to give up, we parked our car and we just went for a walk. We didn't take two steps and we saw the building appeared behind the big fog cloud. We were amesed that we didn't see this big big building, while it was right in front of us.
We walked around the building but all doors were closed. There also was a fence over the zero and first floor to keep unespected visitors outside. But that fence made it easy to climb to the second floor where the building was open.
We noticed a camera but we choose to take the climb. After an half hour we heard something. It was like a kind of metal hit the fence... Boom.. Boom.. Boom.. We dicede to leave the building and when we reached our car , we saw a militair man and a police car with open doors parked in the front of the building we just came out. We did like we were just accidental passenger and drove away.
The building is really impressive, inside it has a beautiful stair but it's very empty. It's a very high building so i am sure the vieuw from the top would be amazing but we didn't see a thing because of all the fog. We would go back with our friends to use it as a awesome paintball location ;)
