Ein sehr faszinierender Lost Place, Teile wurden bereit in der Vergangenheit abgerissen und zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches waren Teile des Geländes durch Zäune abgesichert und nicht begehbar. Trotzdem gibt es auf diesem großen Gelände viel zu erkunden.

Onze vakantie gepland om naar deze locatie te gaan. Op een zondagochtend vroeg erheen. Ondanks dat het flink regende. Dat had ook weer iets moois.
Jammer dat ze de mooie deur vernield hebben. Maar toch vond ik het echt prachtig..

Der Firmensitz von Simon ist eine der Hauptzechen der Kohlenminen auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde an der Mosel in der französischen Region Grand Est. Dieser Bergbausitz besteht aus fünf Minenschächten. Dort wurde von 1907 bis 1997 Kohle abgebaut. Zu Beginn des 21.Jahrhunderts zeugen stillgelegte oder umgebaute Gebäude sowie drei Förfergerüste von dieser vergangenen Tätigkeit. 1985 kamen im Puits Simon 22 überwiegend junge Männer ums Leben.

Avec ses 5 puits, le puits Simon fût l'une des plus grandes mines de Lorraine. Construit au début du XXième siècle, le charbon y fût exploité jusqu'en 1992. En 1985, un coup de grisou entraîne la mort de 22 mineurs et plus de cents blessés. Même si l'ensemble des installations encore existantes est inscrit au titre des monuments historiques, le site ne fait l'objet d'aucun protection et se détériore peu à peu...

Ehemalige Zeche in Frankreich nahe der Grenze zu Deutschland.
Die Security bewacht das gesamte Gelände was ein Betreten und Besichtigen sehr schwierig macht.
Nicht alle Gebäude können Betreten werden.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich trotz allem sehr. Diese Location ist super zum Fotografieren und birgt ein kleines Abenteuer.
Seit 30 Jahren steht dieses Gelände leer.
