The New Hampshire Asylum opened in 1842 and changed its name to the New Hampshire Hospital in 1901. People claim to hear footsteps, feel cole spots, and even hear people talking in empty hallways. Elevators sometimes start on their own and people claim they feel like they are being followed throughout the building.
