Het hotel werd in 1934 opgebouwd en is in 2005 failliet gegaan. Aan het hotel hoorde een zwembad maar doordat het zwembad niet toegankelijk was voor hulpdiensten is de vergunning hiervoor ingetrokken in 2002. Het zwembad is inmiddels volledig verdwenen. De staat ven het hotel is zeer slecht (ingestorte vloeren, vocht in de muren, plafond dat naar beneden komt). Toch is het nog steeds een mooi gebouw om van buitenaf te fotograferen.
