I first saw this place on YouTube, before going to Thailand. It was hard to find out the location but it was worth it as the images were amazing. Sadly, it was already under rehabilitation when I went to this place. But it was still worth it ! For the view, for the space, for the basement.
Let's talk about this place : it used to be one of the most important hotel of Bangkok, more than 40 storeys of room, 600 beds, a wonderful lobby and standing. But ten years after the economic crisis in Thailand, it started to become a nightmare for all the international rich customers. From the 4 stars, it had the same standing as a motel, leading to the closure.
