We found the location on Google Maps last year and were in the neighborhood, so we decided to take a look. A big gate in the front. In the middle of a shopping street. And on top of that camera security. No entrances found at the back of the building. But there was a car on the schoolyard.

Na hier al ontelbaar keren te hebbe gestaan zonder binnen te graken, hadden we dan op een ongepland moment erges in 2015 het geluk hier toch binnen te komen, Eigelijk hadden we deze toen zelfs niet gepland maar we waren in de buurt dus maar snel gaan kijken en damn hadden wij even het geluk dat er aan de straatkant gewoon een raam open stond, dus geen gedoe met over poort klimmen nzo :p Eens binnen toch voldaan dat we eindelijk binnen waren geraakt maar toch een beetje schrik om gepakt te worden. Nu ja gwn rond wandelen en foto's nemen en wel kijken wat er gebeurd. Wat ben ik blij dat ik deze op een makkelijke manier heb kunnen doen en heel veel geluk gehad want een dag later was de raam al weer dicht gemaakt.

Mitten in der Innenstadt stehen die Gebäude des XXX-Institut.
Es ist die Falkultät für Elektrik und Elektronik einer belgischen Universität und wurde bereits 1883 gegründet.
Durch Zufall ergab sich die Gelegenheit diese altehrwürdigen Räumlichkeiten zu betreten.
Leider waren Verwaltungsgebäude und das Auditorium komplett verschlossen und es gab keine Möglichkeit auch diese Räume zu betreten.
Neben Lehrräumen gab es Laboratorien und im Keller viele lange Gänge in denen Installation für Versuche angebracht waren.
Das Institut wurde nach seinem Gründer benannt und steht inzwischen fast 30 Jahre leer.
Inzwischen sind die Denkmalgeschützten Räumlichkeiten verkauft und sollen umgebaut werden.
