Deze mooie locatie ligt aan een drukke verbindingsweg tussen 2 grote steden.
Na enkele meters door het inmiddels hoge gras te stappen, ontdekken we 2 prachtige oude wagens in een verlaten schuur. Voor hun leeftijd zijn de wagens in vrij goede conditie. Er zijn nog geen sporen van vandalisme, krakers of vervelende grafitti spuiters. Deze laatste ontsieren steeds meer leuke locaties vind ik persoonlijk.
Je kan er rustig werken. Er is slechts 1 buurman die tijdens ons bezoek nergens te bespeuren was. Deze locatie zou ik wel inpassen bij een andere. Je gaat hier geen uren verblijven.
Zoals bij vele locaties vrees ik een beetje dat de goede staat van de wagens snel achteruit zal gaan bij veelvuldig bezoek. Ik zie vaak op foto's dat mensen ergens onnodig opklimmen. En zo overal schade aanrichten.
De ene wagen is een Citroën DS. Van de andere weet ik het niet zeker. In ons enthousiasme hebben we er eerst niet naar gekeken. Later blijken de merknamen niet meer zichtbaar. Het lijkt wel op een model van Peugeot uit 1950. Doch deze zijn vooraanzicht heeft een andere grill.
Jullie vinden hier nog een paar foto's van ons bezoek. Wij zijn alweer een volgende locatie aan het voorbereiden.

This beautiful location is located on a busy connecting road between 2 large cities.
After a few meters through the now high grass, we discover 2 beautiful old cars in an abandoned barn. The cars are in pretty good condition for their age. There are no traces of vandalism, squatters or annoying graffiti painters yet. I personally find these latter disfiguring more and more nice locations.
You can work quietly. There is only 1 neighbor who was nowhere to be seen during our visit. I would fit this location in with another one. You are not going to stay here for hours.
As with many locations, I am a bit afraid that the good condition of the cars will deteriorate quickly with frequent visits. I often see in photos that people climb up unnecessarily. And so cause damage everywhere.
One car is a Citroën DS. I'm not sure about the others. In our enthusiasm we did not look at it at first. Later, the brand names no longer appear. It looks like a Peugeot model from 1950. But this front view has a different grill.

First Visit: 12 August 2020 ca. 18 Uhr
An einer viel und stark befahrenen Straße in der Region Flandern, lag die sogenannte Oldtimer Scheune. Sie zu finden, war anfangs schwerer als Gedacht. Da ich nur die Straße und nicht den Ort der Location hatte, musste ich die mehrere Kilometer lange Straße einige mal auf und ab fahren, bis ich den genauen Standort der Scheune ausfindig machen konnte. Ein verlassenes Haus am Straßenrand ließ mich dann schlussendlich zum anhalten zwingen. Tatsächlich war es richtig, denn neben diesem Haus war die Scheune. Das Haus selbst war verschlossen, aber wegen Ihm, war ich auch nicht hier her gekommen. In der Scheune sah ich dann die beiden Schätzchen, wie sie schon seit einigen Jahren unberührt schliefen. Es war ein richtiger Barn Find Moment.
Second Visit: 12 August 2021 ca. 9 Uhr
Diese Location war für mich schon im Vorfeld eine sichere Sache, dachte ich zumindest. Als ich an der Scheune ankam, traute ich meinen Augen kaum, aber beide Oldtimer waren verschwunden. Gerade hier hätte ich nie erwartet, dass sich etwas innerhalb von einem Jahr verändert. Im Nachhinein ärgere ich mich nun darüber, dass ich nicht mehr Zeit für die Oldtimer bei meinem ersten Besuch investiert hatte. Das war der Moment, an dem ich merkte, dass ich aufhören musste den alten Locations vom letzten Jahr einen Besuch abzustatten. Jeder Revisit den ich bis dahin machte, endete mit einem Misserfolg. Ab diesem Punkt an wusste ich somit, dass nun die Zeit gekommen war für frische neue Locations.

Yesterday my friend and I went to visit this awesome (!) location. You’ll find two oldtimers, covered in dirt & dust and you will fall in love with this place. Every picture you take here is stunning! Highly recommended for exploring.
