Going to the Catacombs on a weekly basis is something normal for "Ktaphiles".

After some years of going there, here we are again to spend the night under the ground of Paris... You cannot imagine the excitation who arises when we think about going back there. The best part of this exploration is when you want to go in: you are in the street, looking for the right time to open the manhole cover and get quickly inside to not get seen by the neighbors. After you get in, the adrenaline goes down and you can start walking to your first destination. During the night, you will pass by many amazing and decorated rooms.

[...]

After 5-9hours spent on average under Paris, it is time to go back to the real world. The feeling of going back to the intense world of human is wonderful. You feel like you have escaped for one night this world and you want to go back again next week.

NB: I will not provide any information on how to get inside.
NB2: If you wanna go visit this place, make sure you are with somebody who knows this place and in who you trust. Make sure to have your lamp and water (the very least).
NB3: Going there is prohibited and you can get fined.

*WARNING* THE PARIS CATACOMBS ARE LIKE A HUGE LABYRINTH, DO NOT GO THERE ALONE WITHOUT A GUIDE.

Before Paris existed, there was stone quarries on the land. The quarries were forgotten until the cemeteries were overflowing in the late 1600s. The city of Paris then used some of the submerged tunnels to store remains of more than 6 million people, neatly built into skeleton piles. The quarries are not real catacombs, it’s just a name it has been called since the remains were left here. The tunnels span over more than 300 kilometers, 20–30 meters under the streets. Just some of them contains skeleton parts.
