When I say it was easy to find , I mean that I drove past it on my way home from an urbex shoot .
I decided to park a little further and check it out
A great house , fully furnitured , cupboards still full
What a chance ,
Inside I met three other urbexers ,they told me it was called Maison Snoopy , later I heard it was also called Suske and Wiske
I visited it twice , the second time with Cato , inbetween these visits someone had set the little table in the frontroom ( for a tea party ?)
Apparently the owner lives right across the street

We heard a lot about this place so we felt like we really needed to visit it. When arriving we were stunned to see everything inside was gone, there’s nothing left. The only thing that was nice about this place was the garden, especially the big conservatory that was completely taken over by nature! Beautiful! I actually wouldn’t recommend visiting this place in its current state, except when you are a lover of nature taking things over again!

We hadden al heel wat over deze plek gehoord dus vonden het hoog tijd om er eens heen te trekken. Toen we aankwamen waren we verbaasd om te zien dat heel het huis leeggehaald was. Er stond gewoon niets meer. Het enige mooie aan deze locatie was de tuin, vooral de grote serre die volledig overgenomen werd door de natuur! Prachtig! Wij raden deze plek, in de huidige staat, niet echt meer aan. Tenzij je een liefhebber bent van locaties waar de natuur zijn weg weer aan het vinden is!

Direkt an der Hauptstrasse eines kleinen belgischen Dorfes liegt dieses kleine Haus.
Es ist total zugewachsen und wir bahnen uns den Weg zum Hintereingang.
Da dort sehr viele Suske en Wiske Comics herumliegen, hat das Haus diesen Namen bekommen.
Suske en Wiske ist eine berühmte Comikreihe, die seit 1945 in einer Auflage von mehr als 145 Millionen Exemplaren erschienen ist.

Lovely place to explore, a lot of nice stuff still inside of the previous owners. Also they had a lot of cartoonbooks from Suske and Wiske from Willy vander Steen.
