I love abandoned castles, so even though this castle is just the shell of its former self you can still find plenty to photograph! The spiral staircase is nicely intact and a beautiful view from the top! Bumped into several people also exploring ruins, all were friendly and got a few new Instagram followers now too lol..

If you are in search of an easy access explore and beautiful ruins then this castle is worth a look! The old stones are loose and debris of broken stone lays about. Just want your step, maybe pack a wee lunch and dram of your favorite spirit you'll be fine!!
