Actually ended up checking this place out thinking it was another bando site. Daftys. Still worth the visit. A lot of the site has started to be cleared so there is some construction work doing on. There is garden centre nea by which was handy for parking.

We got round lot of the site, loads of buildings to explore. Mostly long ward units. Able to still see where the individual beds sat, where the toilets were and best of all, there is still a well preserved operating room and I guess what was a day room, piano still standing.

We had about an hour walking round before we started to hear a quad bike. I think it may have been someone who was out to check on the site. Felt like we were being followed round the place. Eventually the quad drove off and we left, shortly after.

The garden centre does a great coffee and toastie for a quick refuel after the visit!
