For years the austrian urbex szene was only aware of a single abandoned church , the "Red Messiah Church".
This changed with a few recent discoveries, one of which was my own find, welcome to the "Green Chapel"

The exact age of the Green Chapel is unnkown, however according to the oldest historical documents it has to be at least 350 years old.
Originally it consisted of 2 main halls, a gothic one in the front and a barock one that was added in the back a little later.
The last masses were held here over 100 years ago and you can really feel the impact of time.
The barock hall caved in a long time ago and is a forest by now, the gothic one however is still intact and entering it feels like entering a jungle temple.

Jahrelang war der österreichischen Urbex Szene nur eine einzige verlassene Kirche bekannt, die "Red Messiah Church".
Dies änderte sich mit einigen kürzlich gemachten Entdeckungen, eine davon war mein eigener Fund: willkommen in der "Green Chapel"

Das genaue Alter der Green Chapel ist unbekannt, jedoch muss sie laut den ältesten historischen Aufzeichnungen mindestens 350 Jahre alt sein.
Ursprünglich bestand sie aus 2 Haupthallen, einer gotischen vorne und einer barocken Halle die etwas später darangebaut wurde.
Die letzten Messen wurden hier vor über 100 Jahren gehalten und man spührt deutlich den Zahn der Zeit.
Die barocke Halle ist vor langem eingestürzt und mittlerweile ein kleiner Wald, die gothische Halle jedoch ist immer noch intakt und sie zu betreten fühlt sich an wie das betreten eines Jungle Tempels.
