Nothing here but decay : inside the ruins of this old manor, you'll just find lots of rubbish slowly rotting. Outside, a couple of old cars in very bad shape...

Wat een tegenvaller zeg. Eigenlijk is het een grote vuilnisbelt. Het is dat we in de buurt waren maar je hoeft er niet speciaal naar toe te rijden.
Het zal ooit wel een prachtig huis geweest zijn.Nu is er weinig meer van over

De auto's zijn wel aardig die er gedumpt zijn.
We zijn er ook niet lang geweest.

Early in the morning we arrived at this location.
This location is really easy to acces but the building is nothing worth. The few cars around the building are worth a picture of you’re in the neighbourhood, but not really worth to go for a drive If this one is the only one on your list.

Nach einigen Lost Cars freien Lost Places, hieß es nun wieder zurück zu den Wurzeln für mich, und so traf ich, auf diese nächste Location. Die einen nennen es Château Chapon, andere kennen es besser, unter dem Namen Old Iron 2, denn es ist gerade einmal ein Kilometer von dem berüchtigten und nur schwer durchdringbaren Old Iron 1 entfernt, und zu guter letzt, ist es für manche noch als Maison du Notaire bekannt. Alle diese Namen, können aber nur schwer ans Tageslicht bringen, um was es sich bei dieser Location eigentlich handelt, beziehungsweise was dieses Gelände, vermutlich mal darstellte. Auch für mich, war es eine schwere Herausforderung, überhaupt etwas über dieses verlassene Anwesen in Erfahrung zu bringen, denn egal wo man hin schaute, alles was man sah, war Schrott.
Tatsächlich fällt diese Location, trotz Ihres starken Fortschrittes an Verfalls, kaum auf. Von der Landstraße aus, ist dieses Anwesen so gut wie gar nicht zu erkennen und man muss schon genau hinsehen, um das stark zugewucherte Grundstück, mit dem samt zugewachsen Gebäude, zu erblicken. Wenn man es nicht besser wüsste, würde man einfach vermuten, dass es ein kleines unbesonderes Waldstück ist und es würde einen niemals in den Sinn kommen, was sich dort alles finden lässt, geschweigedenn verbirgt. Ob die Fahrzeuge wohl nun schon damals, so ausgeschlachtet auf dem Hof standen, oder ob es das gierige Diebespack war, die die Fahrzeuge beim verweilen störte und Ihnen Ihre Teile entriss, bleibt vermutlich noch in alle Ewigkeit, eine für immer ungeklärte Angelegenheit.
Wie so oft, gab es auch hier wieder, gleich am Anfang ein größeres Problem, denn meine Parkmöglichkeit war verhindert. Beim vorbeifahren der Location entdeckte ich einen kleinen öffentlichen Feldweg, der sich direkt neben dem Anwesen befand und einen sehr unauffälligen Eindruck machte, schlichtweg, dieser erwies sich als perfekte Haltemöglichkeit. Ich drehte schnellstmöglich wieder um, fuhr zurück zur besagten Stelle, und setzte an, in den Feldweg einzubiegen. Doch leider musste ich wieder erpruppt stoppen, denn eine Frau musste kurz vor mir, dort hineingefahren sein und verhielt sich jetzt dort im Feld, ziemlich auffällig. Ich drehte unbemerkt wieder um , bog zurück auf die Landstraße ab und fuhr in die Gemeinde, die gleichnamig mit dem Namen der Location ist. Dort parkte ich gegenüber einer Autowerkstatt und setzte meinen Weg, zum Ort des Anwesens fort. Nun war zwar das Problem mit der Frau gelöst, jedoch hatte ich damit, auch meine Karte mit einem unauffälligen Eintritt verspielt. Das hieß jetzt leider für mich, einige Meter laufen, bis ich aus der Ortschaft hinaus war und ab da dann, direkt an der stark befahren Landstraße, einen Weg hinein zu finden und dies, musste ich auch noch ganz ohne Gehweg meistern.
Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, alles was man noch bei Château Chapon antrifft, ist nichts weiter als pures Chaos, gemischt mit reinstem Verfall. Das Haus selbst ist komplett zugemüllt mit Schrott und Abfall und die einzelnen Stockwerke, sind inzwischen alle ins Erdgeschoss gewandert. Von damaligen 3 Etagen, ist nun nicht mehr viel übrig. Trotz das es kleinere Hinweise auf persönliche Gegenstände gab, wirkte es weniger als ein Wohnhaus, als viel mehr wie ein Arbeitsplatz. Aber nicht nur im Haus inneren, ist diese große Ansammlung an Müll zu erkennen, auch auf dem gesamten Gelände außerhalb, verliert man schnell den Überblick vor lauter Unordnung und Schrott. Das einzige was diese Location noch einigermaßen interessant macht, sind wohl die diversen Fahrzeuge, die sich Kreuz und Quer auf dem Areal befinden. Aber auch diese, sind in so einem bemitleidenswerten Zustand, dass man es in seinen Augen kaum ertragen kann. Als wäre dies nicht alles schon schlimm genug, kommt nun noch das Highlight. Ebenfalls befindet sich noch eine riesige Halle auf diesem Grundstück, die so katastrophal zugemüllt wurde, dass man weder rein, geschweigedenn überhaupt in die Nähe von Ihr gelangt. Ob der letzte Besitzer Gerüchten zufolge nun wirklich ein Schrotthändler, oder doch ein Autohändler beziehungsweise Autosammler war, ist ungewiss. Vielleicht war er ja sogar beides und verlor irgendwann einmal die Kontrolle darüber und bemerkte und beendete es erst, als es schon längst zu spät für Ihn, als den letzten Eigentümer des Château Chapon war.

Laut Gerüchten war es mal einem Schrotthändler, was passiert ist und warum sich keiner mehr kümmert, das weiß ich nicht. Leider ist alles zu gemüllt, aber es gibt noch Motive genug zum fotografieren. Ich persönlich fand es noch sehr schön dort.

Sentiment partagé. Le premier bâtiment, imposant et mystérieux ainsi que les carcasses de vieilles voitures sont bien les deux seules choses intéressantes, enfin, l’extérieur du bâtiment, l’intérieur est rempli à rebord d’objets en tous genres, et les extérieurs sont à peines traversables au vu du nombre de déchets accumulés, un bien triste décor sur un lieu pourtant si joli à la base.
À peine quelques photos plus tard, nous repartons déçus d’un tel désordre.

Très belle endroit malheureusement délabré l’étage est impossible car la cage d’escalier c’est effondrée mais l’accès a la cave est praticable plusieurs voiture a l´abandon sur le terrain et là faune a repris c’est droit en tout cas c’est un très belle endroit

I don't have a lot of informaties of this place but the house/manor/castle/... was a big residence !
Everytihng is broken inside ... but the outside has a lot of charm !
There is too a lot of abandoned cars.
