Der Autounion 1000 hat die gleiche Karosserie wieder große DKW 3=6, jedoch einen stärkeren Motor mit 1000ccm und keine Selbstmördertüren mehr.
Gebaut wurden im Zeitraum von 1958-1963 insgesamt 171 008 Stück.

Hierbei handelt es sich jedoch um ein relativ frühes Autounion 1000 Coupe de Luxe Modell, von Aug 1958 bis Aug 1959, da diese noch keine Panoramascheibe hat. Gekostet hat dieser damals 7125 DM.
