The care home down moody lane is tucked away just off of a popular town high street. The place itself has some age to it behind the plasterboard shell...
The explore:
Entry to the place was very easy. Its accessibility actually surprised me upon walking up to it. The front floor windows and doors are boarded but entry is possible if you go for a stroll... Once inside the bottom floor is quite bleak with little to no features, the 2nd floor although is a treasure trove of pictures. Some original curtains and fittings still remain in the very well lit main corridor at the front of the property. The rooms are hit-and-miss some untouched and some ripped up, presumably for the copper piping! i dont think i covered many of the bad rooms when there was so much more opportunity.
The top and final floor was home to little rooms and a small bed hidden up a corner in a cupboard< one of which i believed a homeless person to be living. Although derelict and abandoned the inside wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be.
A great solo explore was had but would recommend a friend always. I was just passing at the time...
