On a very rainy day we decided to drive to several urbex locations. This was one of them. Other urbexers said it used to be a hotel. But it looks more like just a appartment complex. It is in a very weird place though, so it must have been a hotel.

Its a big building that is completely trashed. It can be explored to the fullest if you want.

Je kunt deze ook locatie ook bezoeken met toestemming. Er hangt een telefoonnummer. Het is dezelfde beheerder als Hunters Hotel. En omdat we daar net waren heb ik hem een aapje gestuurd. En zodoende relaxed rondgelopen daar.
Wij vonden het echt de moeite waard. De geschiedenis staat in een ander rapport te lezen.

Diese Location kann man legal besuchen,gegen Zahlung bekommt man den Schlüssel, den man etwas weiter oben im emaligen Hotel Sand beim Josef abholen kann.



Im Sommer 2013 brannte der komplette Dachstuhl, dieser ehemaligen Kurklinik komplett ab, dabei wurden einige sicherlich sehr interesannte Räume und Einrichtungen total zerstört. Befand sich doch dort oben der hauseigene Pool und Spabereich. Dieser Umstand des fehlenden Daches machte aus dem Hotel das Schimmelhotel. Wir trauten unseren Augen nicht was wir da so alles zu sehen bekammen. Erwähnenswert wären da auch noch zwei wirklich gute Grafittis im Treppenhaus die mit dem eigentlichen Geschmiere das man an solchen Orten findet nicht’s gemein haben sondern durchaus gut gemacht sind. Über die eigentliche Geschichte des Hotels das gar kein Hotel war sondern eine Fachklinik für Suchtkranke Frauen bleibt zu sagen das der Betrieb 1997 wegen Unrentabilität und dringend notwendiger Sanierungsmaßnahmen in Millionenhöhe eingestellt wurde. Ursprünglich stand hier einst ein Luftkurhotel welches aber in den letzten Kriegstagen 1945 durch Bomben zerstört wurde. Nach dem Wiederaubau 1953 wechselten Name und Verwendung mehrfach.

Eine ehemalige Kurklinik, die zuletzt für drogenabhängige Frauen genutzt wurde und 1997 verlassen wurde. Seitdem suchen sich Schimmel und Moos ihren Weg durch das Gebäude. Leider ist das Gebäude bereits sehr heruntergekommen, bietet aber dennoch einige schöne Fotomotive.
Gegen 5€ pro Person erhält man von einem älteren Herrn den Schlüssel für das "Schimmelhotel" und kann es problemlos anschauen.
