Have visited this place twice, once as the mentioned date but then again in the winter of 2018 - 2019 season. First time we went got pictures you see now. Second time got no pictures but had a "paranormal" encounter that was unforgettable! Second time visiting however we were greeted at the exit by a state trooper that promptly escorted us back to our car where he wrote us all appearance tickets to go to court. He said they will just drop the chargers and say not to come back. He was wrong, all 5 of us got charged $375 and told if we are caught back inside the fence the punishment will be greater. That being said unfortunately I do not see myself returning to this amazing location. Final thought is I have heard that there are wolves that live in one of the buildings and in the underground tunnels. I have not seen any but have been told they exist. Also state police frequent the grounds and know where people park. Heads up!

This place is extremely cool and can be explored if you plan accordingly. There isn't just police presence but there are also locals that call the cops if they see any suspicious activity at all. Luckily I was able to get dropped off with my buddy and we didn't have to find a parking spot. We went in at 5am (still dark) and made our way in, it was impossible to find a hole in the fence because someone patches them up, so we had to crawl under the fence. This place is unsafe with a lot of floors that could fall if you step on them at the wrong time, but otherwise, this place is amazing. Beautiful architecture, the vandalism isn't too much to ruin that at least. If you do go here, I advise going to the top of the tower on the easternmost part of the building, you can find a ladder to it on the top floor, the view is amazing. By the way, I had a crappy camera when I went but I have a better one now.
