The mental asylum of the world is located in Italy, precisely in Tuscany, it contained more than 120 pavilions and the most famous were the Ferri and Charcot pavilions where "agitated" patients (criminals or frantic sketches) were hospitalized. With the Barsaglia law in Italy all mental asylums were definitively closed. Since then it has been in a state of neglect. With some guided tours it is possible to always visit some recovered pavilions but not all of them.
