We had a great time at this place, expected a little more of the church but with a place as big as this one, vandals don’t mind destroying everything… the architecture of the building from the outside is just stunning! A true piece of art!

Fino agli anni'70 venne utilizzato come sanatorio per i malati di tubercolosi. Divenne azienda ospedaliera a fine anni '80.
Venne abbandonato nel 2015 dopo la costruzione di un nuovo ospedale situato alle sue spalle.
Il nosocomio comprende anche una bellissima chiesa lasciata anch'essa all'incuria e alle continue incursioni di ladri e vandali...che si sa: il rispetto a loro, non interessa rubarlo.

Building of Ospedale di G started in 1911 , but was only completed after ww1 in 1924
In 1929 a new pavillion was added giving it a total of 1500 beds
It was abandoned in 2015 when the new hospital next to it opened
The old hospital is wellknown for the fantastic chapel in it's centre
The hospital itself is an immens building ,with several wings , I was there over an hour and a half ,and still had not explored all the buildings
I did meet two guys moving (or stealing) furniture from the basement , they only asked me not to take photos and I asked them not to tell anybody I was there . No problem
