Visit duration 5 hours
We visited this factory after a long time thinking about it due to the risk of asbestos but we got some masks and went for it. We surveyed the area as we heard reports of security but none was seen so found an entrance and got in fairly easily after a short walk from the main entrance. The site is absolutely huge and we spent 4-5 exploring every accessible area which was most of it. The general condition is fairly safe if you come prepared and bring masks as some parts are filled with asbestos and it looks as if the local council had started cleaning it up as their was bags full of it in some rooms. The place is amazing for pictures and definitely worth a visit wouldn’t recommend doing it alone due to the size and also wouldn’t do it at night unless you bring a good torch as there’s lots of trip hazards. Amazing explore and definitely worth the 5 hours walking around.
