It was once a beautiful urbex location but they destroyed a lot.
but one thing they cant destroy is the view!
When we visited this location there was 4 homeless people, 3 man and 1 woman who was pregnant.
We guessed that they were scared and called the police. but they left and few minutes later the police came.

Wow. This might be my new favorite. A very nice villa, with the entire furniture still in it. Its a lovely place, which has enough to atleast give you an hour of pleasure.

Its fairly easy to access and gives you a nice view of how these people used to live. At some point, it looks as if some homeless people lived here but they still left allot of furniture. The place is really nice, with a really beautiful view!

Château Arabia aka Château du Sheik is een prachtig verlaten kasteel in het kleine Luxemburg. Het kasteel werd vroeger gebouwd door een wel gestelde heer. Deze had 13 kinderen bij twee verschillende vrouwen. De man stierf heel jong op 60 jarige leeftijd. Na het overlijden werd het kasteel verkocht aan een rijke Arabische Sheik die het als buitenverblijf gebruikte.

Deze Sheik was ook al iets wat van oudere leeftijd, dat konden we merken aan de vele rolstoelen en het ziekenhuisbed die we aantroffen in het kasteel. Het kasteel staat volgens mij leeg sinds 2013. Dat zijn de recentste jaartallen die ik toen kon terug vinden. Het kasteel zou nu in hadden zijn van een welgesteld koppel, die zouden er een hotel van wil maken. Je ziet al enkele sporen van renovatie werken, maar vermoed dat deze al eventjes stil ligt.

Deze locaties stond al eventjes op onze bucketlist, maar zagen er wat tegen op om zo ver en zo lang te moeten rijden, dan te bedenken van stel we vinden geen ingang. Dan toch last minute besloten om onze kans is te wagen om tot hinder te rijden. Trouwens een zeer mooi land Luxemburg om locaties te bezoeken, het land heeft een paar mooie exemplaren. Uiteindelijk hebben we toch onze stoute schoenen aangetrokken richting Luxemburg. Vertrokken om 05.00 uur in de ochtend net na dat avondklok in België was verstreden.

Iets na zonsopgang zijn we tenslotte aangekomen aan ons prachtig kasteel. De eerste locaties van die dag toen. Het was er zeer rustig op dat tijdstip van de dag. Dat speelde natuurlijk in ons voordeel. Het kasteel ligt namelijk langs een rivier en ik zag dat er een wandelroute bij hoorde. Ik vermoed dat er hier dan ook nog redelijk veel passage is. Op terrein aangekomen stond ons nog een helse klim op het progamma. Het kasteel ligt namelijk op een stijle heuvel. Eenmaal boven was eventjes zoeken naar een ingang. Eens heel het gebouw rond gelopen, maar de aanhouder wint! Gelukkig een ingang kunnen vinden!

Das Chateau wurde für Dominique Alexis Brasseur gebaut. Als er 1890 in das kleine Schloss Bxxxxxxxxx zog, das er zwischen Yyyyyy und Zzzzzzz gebaut hatte, verbrachte er eine schöne Zeit im Herrenhaus, während sein Sohn Robert sich dort von Typhus erholen sollte.

Er war von 1866 bis 1899 Mitglied der Abgeordnetenkammer. Von 1891 (Nominierung: 27. Januar 1891) bis 1894 war er Bürgermeister der Stadt Luxemburg. Danach war er bis 1899 Mitglied des Stadtrats.
Dominique Alexis Brasseur war Mitbegründer mehrerer Gießereien, darunter der Société des Hauts Fourneaux Luxembourgeois in Esch-sur-Alzette.

Danach wurde das Chateau etliche Jahre als Hotel genutzt bevor es dann von einer arabischen Familie erworben wurde.
Warum die Familie das Chateau dann aufgab ist nicht genau geklärt und es gibt nur Gerüchte.

Angeblich ist das Familienoberhaupt verstorben und die Familie zog sich daraufhin zurück und überließ die Immobilie sich selbst.

When I saw pictures of this location I immediately knew I had to see this one. So start searching immediately and found quickly. Because there are already quite a lot of people going there, I immediately went when I found it to prevent me from arriving and most things were already gone or broken. Unfortunately, some things had already disappeared, but we were still able to take pictures well here.

The house is littered with signs, which warn the adventurers ... Many damages, but the fixtures are healthy, and this makes it clear that someone really controls him and probably it is the same neighbor, since at the entrance of his house, the signs were very similar ... Ik heb deze locatie gekregen dus dat vinden telt dan niet.
Prachtig hoog gelegen. Makkelijk binnen te komen. Pas wel op voor de buurman.
Een week na ons bezoek hing er een A4 aan het hek in 4 talen over dat het privé grondstuk is en dat men de politie belt enz.
Maar goed wij hebben het erg mooi gevonden. Maar dan eigenlijk alleen de begane grond. Die is prachtig. Al zag je op het fluweel op de tafel voetsporen. Ik denk van diegene die de kroonluchter gejat heeft.
Boven al veel gesloopt en erg rommelig. Ook zijn de vloeren her en der niet zo goed meer.
Maar al met al waren wij blij dat we er geweest zijn. Over de geschiedenis is al genoeg geschreven.

Going into the green world and finally entering the main entrance.
We fellt a creepy vibe like somebody could still be living here. It was a good place to make pictures but once upstairs I felt the need to be carefull to set one foot in front of the other. As the floor might drop down with every step I managed to take some awesome pictures and hope to give you a feeling of the vibe I felt.

Chateau Arabia was a castle that has a long history. The latest part of the history, is that is has been owned by an Arab, who would have lived in here.
In some places of the little castle, it is visisble that an Arab has lived here, for instance the beds. It was a nice place to visit, despite the entire "urbex bus" was there at the time...

We went there the 5th of june, seeing this place all over the internet made me worried about the condition of the place. Luckily (maybe because of covid) there were some traces of vandalism and trashing but overall 'the bus' has not been trough here yet. It was a beautiful location 100% worth taking the risk of beeing seen because there are neighbors, but we tracked trough the woods anyway.

In een woord , Prachtig!
Een geweldige omgeving met heel mooi uitzicht , dat maakt de kleine wandeling nog leuker. Vervolgens kom je aan bij de villa die nog prachtig uit ziet en in goede staat is !
Als je binnen komt is het nog mooier !
Vooral het uitzicht uit de slaapkamers !
Hier zouden ze zeker iets mee moeten doen .. deze ligging is enorm prachtig 😍
Zeker de moeite waard om te gaan kijken!
Ik hoorde geruchten over renoveren dus als je wilt gaan word het tijd !

Dit prachtige kasteeltje ligt gelegen op een stijle heuvel, bij het water. De klim ernaartoe was wel even pittig maar eenmaal boven aangekomen is het een prachtig aanzicht. Er is een goed oplettende buurman waar je voor moet uitkijken, maar het is het dubbel en dik waard.
Er staat echt nog alles is, het lijkt echt net alsof ze alles achter hebben gelaten en met de noorderzon zijn vertrokken. Misschien dachten ze nog terug te keren? De woonkamer is echt prachtig om te zien, het heeft een Arabische stijl en is echt prachtig om foto's van te maken!
Een aantal kamers op de bovenverdieping lijkt wel alsof er restauratie plannen voor zijn. De rest van de kamers hebben meer verschillende stijlen toch zie nog altijd een Arabische stijl terugkomen.

Luxemburg zelf is ook prachtig om doorheen te rijden maar deze locatie maakt het echt af! Hopelijk blijft deze ook zo prachtig!

This beautiful castle is located on a steep hill, by the water. The climb to it was a bit tough, but once at the top it is a beautiful view. There is a very attentive neighbor to watch out for, but it is well worth it. It really says everything is, it really seems as if they have left everything behind and left with the northern sun. Maybe they thought they would return? The living room is really beautiful to see, it has an Arabic style and is really beautiful to take pictures of! A number of the upstairs rooms seem as if there are plans for restoration. The rest of the rooms have more different styles yet still see an Arabic style. Luxembourg itself is also beautiful to drive through, but this location really finishes it! Hopefully it will remain so beautiful!

We kwamen in een kelder terecht, ik botste meteen op de prachtige biljard tafel die er stond. Opzoek naar een weg naar boven dan maar, eenmaal boven kon ik mijn ogen niet geloven. Ik kwam meteen terecht in een zeer grote hal met wel 20 zetels in. Het was echt prachtig! Ik stond echt aan de grond genageld van verbazing hoe mooi de architectuur er was.

Deze locaties behoord echt in mijn top 3 van beste locaties ooit bezocht, de vele kilometers en uren in de auto naar deze locaties waren het meer dan waard! Onze dag kon al niet meer stuk en er stonden nog vele prachtige locaties op ons te wachten die dag.

Ein kleines Schloss in einem kleinem Land. Neben zahlreichen Bäumen steht in der Mitte ein sehr hubsches kleines Schloss. Damals wohnten dort 3 reiche Ausländer. Nun ist das kleine Schloss verlassen und wird von der Natur zurück genommen.
