Textile mill built in 1893 by brothers David and Henry Mallalieu and was run by the family until the late 1990's. Raw fibres were dyed, spun and weaved on the same site.
Fire destroyed most of the mill in 2016 and what's left is slowly being demolished.
Access is very easy but the site is quite dangerous and there isn't much left with the main part of the mill gone.
