Visit duration    2 hours

Been here during my Croatia visit in 2017, as a recently discovered this website im uploading some of my old visits.

Zavrsje is a very small village on a hill in the Croatian Istria region.
It has a beautifull view and is inhabited by around 50 people. It used to have many more residents but mainly the remote location many people have left this town and left their houses to decay.

The town is only accessable via a dirtroad, and only really old signs indicate the way.

Due to the fact that this town is located on a hill with spectaculair view, amazing photo's can be taken with these abandoned buildings.

During our visit we ran into some of the residents in this town, they are mainly surprised to see any visitors, so they are sceptical about your visit. Upon explaining what we were doing there (with hands, because they do not speak English), they smiled friendly and continued their daily business.
