In urbex you can't always get what you want.
I made a stop at an abandoned house that I layed my eyes on for a while but this one was completely closed.
I never give up quickly so I rang the neighbour's door, the people were friendly and called the son of the old lady who passed away five years ago for me.
The man even showed up after 15 minutes.
I did my little talk to him, showed some pictures and made some promises, unfortunately the man didn't want me to give acces.
He noted my dissapointment and told me to go have a look a few streets further because there's 'an old dump' that might interest me.
When people on the road give me this kind of advice it's moost of the time not worth the effort but I always check it out.
In the middle of the fields was a litlle street with only a few houses, one of them was the old dump.
It's obvious the good man doesn't knew much about history or couldn't express himself at a proper way because I found an old deserted farm house that was built more than 3 centuries ago!
I felt the adrenaline pumping like crazy and I started to find an acces.
After a while I stood in the middle of the yard and from there on I literally walked inside the farm house without touching anything.
Now i'm starting to get used a little to visit abandoned farms but what I found over there was completely above any expectations.
Antique furniture, beautiful decoration and a rich interior.
The calendar gave up counting the years in 2007.
To end this report I will quote from a famous Rolling Stone song:
You can't always get what you want.
but if you try sometimes, well, you just might find.
You get what you need!
