Found this place by chance whilst on holiday with the family in Cornwall.
Decided to bribe the kids with ice- cream so I could go exploring. It worked.
Great hotel with beautiful surroundings, access was easy but due to fire damage the upstairs were pretty unsafe.
Great place for photos.
The Headlands Hotel, once a great Victorian establishment, constructed at a time when the new railway would bring visitors to the area now lies abandoned, dilapidated and in desperate need of attention.
After 22 years, the previous owners decided to retire and put the hotel on the market for £2.5 million, sadly it never sold.
Fun fact: This was a filming location for the tv programme Doc Martin.
