I've heard a lot of this *active* location. I often passed this station nearby, which is used in parts as solar and astrophysics observatory. There was never enough time to have a quick look at it - but - a quick look is not enough here. So I decided to travel especially for it, when a high pressure weather pattern brings the required and desired sky.
With the sun low in the sky, I got to the place. Altough the terrain is surrounded by a fence, it is in fact not necessary to enter. To catch the whole chain of satellite dishes, a certain distance is needed. Or you can use a simple telephoto-lens, this will do the job. So no worries about not to enter the area itself. Legal visit is all you need to do.
After the sun dropped down less than 1 degree above the horizon, the colours changed and I could compose and play with the antenna objects theme. Marvellous. Most of the old satellite dishes are easy visible from behind the fence, and even better, the two dogs on the terrain can't wind you because of the terrains size.
Remember the images came from an iPhone 10 just for the quick record. More photos in progress.
