Wiedermal eine Kirche dachte ich am Anfang. Bis wir angekommen sind. Es war wohl mal ein Altenheim mit einer sehr schönen Kapelle.

Construite durant la deuxième moitié du XIXième siécle, cette chapelle de style néoclassique tardif désservait un hospice aujourd’hui disparu.

Celle-ci fût régulièrement fréquentée par la famille royale belge lors de ses séjours dans une résidence à proximité.

Après bien des vicissitude et des années d’abandon, le bâtiment semble à présent sur le point de vivre une véritable cure de jouvence. Tant mieux pour ce patrimoine longtemps malmené…

When returning from Italy we decided that we still wanted to visit the cupola before everybody would overrun the place. It was well worth it. The chapel was filled with beds and bird poop but it was a beautiful location none the less. For more, check out our YouTube video on this location.
